POST 6: ART

Art has been a part of humanity since inmemorial times, art has accompanied the people in the way to know ourselves and to know the reality, in the road to get a place in the world.

Art has been a part of my life since i was born, specially because my father was a painter, and today my brother is an artist too.
My brother´s love to art started when he was a child, he drawing all the time and did it very well.
In my case, I was never good at drawing but I always liked art. In some times of my life I was tried to do something related to art, for a time I was carving wood, another time i was work with clay, but I was never be consistent in this work.

Personally I deeply admire artist and his capacity to create, his capacity to express and specially his conviction to dedicated his life to it.

Today I would love to learn to draw and paint even though I´m not good for it.

POST 5: A PHOTOGRAPH THAT YOU LIKE

Hello my friends, today I want to talk about this amazing picture. It´s not a common picture because you can´t see the landing nor the people but you can imagine they are having a wonderful time.

This picture was taken by a friend of mine at "Ciudad abierta" (open city) in Ritoque two years ago.
It shows a wood wall strangely built like all the buildings of this little city.
"Open city" has been designed by a group of poet-architects of the Catholic University of Valparaiso.
The time we took the picture, we stayed at one of the houses of the city and we could explore the different places, buildings, artistic works and one cemetery made of bricks.
I remember open city fondly because the landscape was really beautiful and we had a really good weather.
We enjoyed the weekend we stayed there even though a couple of dogs stole our meet and we couldn´t make a barbecue like we planned.
